We will meet at the top of Copper Mines Lane (GR-521551) at 10:30. The walk is close to a figure of eight. We start by heading over to Burwardsley and then taking the Sandstone trail south over Bulkeley Hill after which there will be a short detour to the Bickerton Poacher for refreshments. From the pub we rejoin the Sandstone trail and follow a very scenic path past Raw Head and back to the cars. Total distance about 8 miles.  Please bring stout walking boots and a packed lunch and let me know if you are planning to join us..
