To celebrate the Club's 50th anniversary, Roger organised an expedition to the Himalayan state of Sikkim in the far north of India. This involved a trek into the Kanchenzonga National Park up to the the base of Mt Kanchenjunga (the world's third highest peak) and also an attempt to climb the 6,000m peak of Mt Thinchinchang
Roger and others will give us an illustrated talk about the expedition, and also our visit to Sikkim's capital Gangtok and to Darjeeling
