The Scottish meet during the late May Bank Holiday has become a highlight of the Gwydyr year. After Torridon (2012), Arran (2013) and Knoydart (2014), Teresa is organising a meet based at Ullapool, a beautiful harbour town surrounded by lots of mountains.
There are more Munro's than you could ever wish for within 30 minutes drive, including the mighty An Teallach. For those wishing to venture a bit further afield there are the spectacular Sutherland peaks of Suilven, Canisp, Stac Polly, Quinag etc, that just rise out of the landscape further North.
The Lodge is located just above the beach, so there are lots of coastal walks, swimming, boat trips from Ullapool, and other sea activities
