Park at Railway Station Car Park in Edale for 8:30, with the view of setting off to walk by 8:45.

The walk should be 9/10 miles or so with about 1,000 feet of ascent.

Route: North out of Edale (240 m) to Grindsbrook Booth. East along to Vale of Edale, turning North up Ollerbrook Clough to climb up to the Edge of Kinder Scout.
We'll turn West to head for the gritstone outcrop "Ringing Roger" and then along the 600 m contour line to meander amongst the myriad of gritstone outcrops called "The Woolpacks". Then walking further South West to join the Pennine Way at Edale Rocks (600 m) before turning South and then West to descend down Jacob's Ladder to reach the valley floor. Finally East via Upper Booth & South West to Barber Booth to return back to the cars.

There's a couple of pubs in Edale itself. Both serve food hot food & a cafe too.

If the weather is bad for the Saturday (19th), we could hold Sunday the 20th as a reserve day.
