This is a section of the 34 mile Llangollen Round that some members did in 2018 as a single day walk. Since then we have done most of the route in sections as day walks.

This section is15 miles with 2500ft of ascent and follows the ridge above the Dee valley between Carrog and Froncysyllte.

Please could you tell me if you are coming on this walk as soon as you can as it is linear (with hills) and we will need to move cars and people. 

The plan is to meet at the aqueduct car park  at  8.45 for 9am depart. Leaving cars there and moving walkers in cars to Carrog to start the walk.

Use The Aquaduct carpark marked as 85 on map, not the other one nearer the aquaduct, that is blue badge and permit holders.

The good news is it's huge and only £3 per day. The bad news is it's pay by phone, so we will move as many cars as poss to Carrog where it's free parking. So don't pay until everyone has arrived.
