Meet 9:45 for 10. am start. Take the A4212 from Bala. When you reach the dam of the Llyn Celyn Reservoir it's the 3rd layby on the LHS, (not marked on the map).

On the Explorer map OL18, it's where the 306m spot height is, Grid Reference 864 410.

Allow at least 1hour 30 mins traveling time through the rush hour from the Wirral. There are 2 main driving routes A483/A5/A494 or A5104 which is shorter in distance but slower because of the 50 mph Llangdegla moors average speed cameras and the numerous 20 mph village speed restrictions..
