This is a 9 mile walk at low and mid level. From Ty Mawr Country Park in the village of Cefn Mawr the walk goes along the River Dee below the Pontcysyllte Acequduct and then up to the canal, where one can walk out and back across the acqueduct.  Then on by canal to join the Offa's Dyke path as far as Trevor Rocks, getting great views across the Dee valley.

Then a descent on quiet lanes to Trevor, back along the canal to to rejoin the outward route.
