A walk from the lovely village of Rowan, just outside Conway.  It starts with a steep climb on the road up to the Youth Hostel, then evens out onto a Roman road, before turning up through sheep pastures to the summit.  We then continue along the ridge on the decent, passing a tiny church steeped in history, through a wooded path and more fields, arriving back in Rowan having hiked just under 7 miles.  If the weather is on our side and we have some clear skies the views from the summit are spectacular, looking over Anglesey, Llandudno and the Conway Valley.

We'll meet in Rowan by the Ty Gwyn Hotel (Pub) in the centre of the village, ready to start at 9.30am.  There's parking roadside and apparently by the Memorial Hall, I've taken the following information from the Internet :

The Memorial Hall is not responsible for  any vehicles left in the car park.

Please…
Park considerately. The public car park is a public highway, shared-use for residents,   Memorial Hall users and visitors’ vehicles.
Leave space for emergency service vehicles to get through to the houses and the Memorial Hall.
Leave clear access to the recycling skips and to the garages.

The free public toilets in the car park are open from mid April to end of October.

Visitors.. we suggest park on the roadside, across the road from the flagpole, postcode LL32 8YA.   The car park soon gets congested.
