This is an 8.5-9 mile flat coastal walk from Waterloo station to Formby station taking in the Iron Men on Crosby Beach, the River Alt estuary, and including an optional section over the nature reserves at Formby Beach. (Please note that it's subject to confirmation next month at which time we should have details of any troublesome planned railway engineering work - if this does cause a problem I'll amend to a Wirral based idea).
