We will be departing from Stubbing Wharfe pub just outside Hebden Bridge at 9.30 am. Unsure on pubs availability for parking for the day so I suggest street parking in Church Lane opposite the pub.

The distance is approximately 10.5 miles, and 1500ft ascent in total. The route involves a woodland walk short sharp ascent to Hepstonstall. A more gentle descent down into Midgeholes and following the valley north along Hardcastle Crags and onwards to Blake Dean. A short road walk to the Pack Horse Inn and following the path towards Gorple Reservoir. Then picking up the Pennine Way southwards across Heptonstall Moor. Down into Colden Clough and following the river back towards Stubbing Wharfe pub.
