This is I think a new venue for the Club! About 8 miles on good paths, 3 short sections on quiet roads, generally dry but one bad muddy patch.
Starting (at 10.00am) from the car park at Letcliff Country Park in Barnoldswick, this varied walk passes the last old mill in the town and then goes up to join the Pendle Way over the grassy summit of Weets Hill (1.302') which gives good views of Pendle Hill, the South Pennines and the 3 Peaks on a clear day. We then descend, and head north across heather moorland for a time before dropping to the Leeds Liverpool canal which takes us back to the start.
