A day in the Lake District climbing both Scafell and Scafell Pike.  Route to be finalised.  Let me know if your interested. 

New Plan is to start from Wasdale Head car park SD187084, £10 for the day.   Meet at car park at 8.30. The route is

  • Wasdale Head to Scafell via Lords Rake
  • Scafell to Scafell Pike via Wesr Wall Traverse and Mickledore
  • Scafell Pike to Wasdale Head via Lingmell Col

About 9 miles in total with 1200m of ascent.

Lords Rake is a  grade one scramble up a steep, scree filled gully.
